The Mays | 5.4.24
The Mays get hitched in May! This gorgeous palette of whites + blues is just so peaceful. The floating bloom install over the bar was a fan fav and for good reason! Such a moment! We also adore the ceremony altar florals by the fountain I mean.. it doesn’t get much more romantic than getting married in a rose garden, in front of a fountain. And the stage front florals?! We are so glad Mrs. May trusted us to bring this day to life.

The McCools | 1.13.24
The McCools are the coolest! This chilly January wedding was a great kickstart to 2024. Babies breath + disco balls are perfect for ringing in the new year! The DF team traveled to Oxford MS for this wedding, just a little outside of Memphis and we loved getting to work at this venue, The Mill at Plein Air, in such a cute town square area. So many great floral moments from the staircase install to the ceremony altar cross. And the floral pillars accenting those amazing chapel doors, ugh to die for!

The final wedding of 2023 was full of color! Haley wanted all the bright colors and its just the kind of pop we needed to end the year. These two got married on the family’s property in KY and it felt like a Sweet Home Alabama movie moment. During set up there were lady bugs galore which only means one thing – lots and lots of good luck for wedding day! Heres to ending the year with some lovely colors + such a sweet couple!

I waited all year for Mallory’s vision to come together on wedding day and it did not disappoint one bit. If things are able to be repurposed from ceremony into reception, we say let’s do it! Always here for those wow factor floral moments and Mallory’s sweetheart table situation was definitely one of those moments. Such an amazing day getting The Kelleys married!

My bestie since 8th grade married another bestie! Amber and Scott dated when we were all in high school. Life took them separate ways and then they found themselves finally back together again. Celebrating + flowering for The Craddicks in FL was a w h i r l w i n d of a time and there is just nothing better than getting your besties married to their person. Amber trusted some the DF team to flower for her while also being bridesmaids and let me tell you, hair and make up in between flowering aint no joke! So happy we got to flower for these two!

We are loving the pastel palette here that Olivia wanted! We included touches of autumn tones to showcase October while keeping it majorly light and airy. This rooftop distillery downtown was a joy to flower on. One of my favorite moments from 2023 was at this wedding with the bride and her grandfather. A sweet moment that brought so many vendors to tears. Cheers to The Sines!

My soul absolutely adores a backyard wedding. Something brings such comfort with it being so homey and calm. Loved Carolines vision of blues + rust + bronze tones. Caroline was an angelic bride and with her sweet personality to go along with it, she could 100% pass for a Disney Princess! She has such a unique love story and we are completely over the moon for her happiness.

A day filled with color, Catherine was a girl after our hearts with her inspo from the beginning! We had an absolute blast this day flowering for The Sistrunks. Catherine was a vision herself and it was such a pleasure to flower for her. Will never be over the vibes of this day.

These two are happy happy happy! All smiles and laughs all day long. R wanted those tropical moments brought into her downtown Memphis wedding on the river and we LOVED every second of it! She wanted mostly greenery with pops of blooms so we gave the lady what she wanted! As always, we like to deliver.

Laura + Jimmy were such an amazing couple to flower for. The whole process through they were kind and understanding of just what it took to get the DF team to Washington DC. Travel weddings are a lot of work but man this one was so SO worth it. Love this couple + these stunning photos captured the day beautifully. Lauras moody color palette was everything and more. I love when brides completely trust DF to bring the vision to life and Laura did just that – makes all the difference in the world

Lexi + Chris are so in love and its so unmistakeable. Such a great day celebrating the Boones and witnessing this love. Lexi wanted all white florals + babies breath and we just love how beautifully this wedding was put together + captured. So happy for these two and them finally tying the knot after being together since they were kids. Love to see a lasting love from childhood. It is basically unheard of these days and I feel like those relationships last through so much change + challenges as they grow into themselves and deeper into the relationship, that they can withstand anything life throws at them.

The hottest wedding day we had this year but it was worth the sweat to get The Longs married + celebrated! A soft + sweet summer day for the sweetest summer bride! And a color palette to compliment that sweetness. We are so happy to call Liz a DF bride! She radiates kindness + joy! I smile so big on wedding days seeing our brides so in love and this was definitely one of those days the whole way through

Kenzie + Cayce were the most relaxed gals all day long – such great wedding day vibes. Cayce’s family owns the venue where these two tied the knot and I think Kenzie’s super simplistic vision was just what this Sunday wedding needed. She wanted mostly greenery with pops of white blooms. It was a hot summer day that turned into a stormy night. The power went out all over town but that didn’t stop the celebrating for these two. The band kept going and so did the good vibes with everyone still on the dance floor, wearing battery string lights. Simple love is the best kind

Caley wanted a Miami wedding and let me tell you every expectation I had going into this was exceeded! Our first destination wedding – such amazing vibes all week long. Destination weddings are a lot of work but man oh man getting to travel, creating magic in new places + experiencing different event spaces is so worth it all. Caley was a bridal d r e a m – like how stunning is she?! She’s got a sweet soul to match. Her color palette just beams with bright cheerful summer vibes and it was such a joy to bring her vision to life down in South Florida. Here’s to the Yohos!

A was such a delight to work with over the past year. She has been such a kind and genuine soul and I was so excited for her day to finally arrive. Her color palette was fun + springy and that was captured beautifully in these photos. I get googoo eyed every time i see our brides in their dresses with their bridal bouquets. It makes me so happy and I will never get over seeing each bride’s wedding day vibe come together completely. A made a gorgeous bride and we are so happy we got to play a part in The Adams special day!

First elopement of 2023! The way these two look at each other – whew! Y requested a color filled bouquet for her courthouse wedding and we said say no more! My color loving heart was locked and loaded for this bridal moment. The bride and this bouquet both radiate pure joy! Super glad to play a part in their special day. These photos are such a vibe! Love all the details from this day.

First wedding of 2023 – A very special one indeed when the bride is one of your high school cheer team buds from back in the day. It’s an absolute honor when chosen to be each of our DF brides wedding florist, but it definitely hits different when someone you know from years back wants you to be their wedding florist. I would give anything to go back on my wedding day and be able to channel J’s bridal energy. She was so calm, cool, collected, chill! The whole entire wedding party brought the most fun vibes. From start to finish this bride never let anything dull her shine. She was so selfless she even asked me what she could do to help me with the flowers. No, I would never in a million years let a bride help me in any way shape or form on their wedding day, but her saying that just shows you how great of a person she is. The foggy day vibe set such a cool mood and her color palette chosen with the pops of blue went hand in hand. Congratulations to the Jeffersons! Wishing you guys tons and tons and tons of happiness!!

Rain on your wedding day is good luck right? M + S got a whole lotta luck at their December winter wedding. It was a cold and wet day but that didn’t phase these two one bit. S carried M all around outside so her feet and dress stayed dry which made for some cutie moments of M’s groom being quite the gentleman. For her church on the river ceremony, she chose aisle markers that we repurposed as centerpieces for the reception at an art gallery downtown. Such a great day celebrating the Rileys!

Winter elopement goals right here!!! Gorgeous photos to capture their special day spent with their closest family back in December. Every single detail of the day is perfection but the best detail for us was the little booties we got to attach to the bride’s bouquet. H’s great great grandmother made them for her when she was born, and they will be passed down to H + S’s little girl once she makes her arrival. How freaking sweet. I love a sentimental family heirloom. H’s bouquet was my first all white bouquet and I must say, my color loving heart was skipping beats when this white wonder was complete. I was, and still am, so obsessed with her bridal bouquet!

Was up and down a 12 ft ladder all morning long but wow the results of those chandeliers were worth. every. climb!!! Plans switched up a little bit the week of the wedding. The ceremony had to move from the outside gazebo to inside since the temps were so cold. But J rolled with the punches and was such a good sport about trusting DF to still create a great ceremony space. Even though what we did was completely different than the greenery lining the gazebo plan, I think this turned out even cooler and way more unique. Love all the different ways our white modern stands can be used. We also have a traditional version of white stands for rent too.

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it one hundred times – I love me a backyard wedding!!! There’s just something about the comfortability it brings to the day. A sense of calmness + peace because of it having that familiar feeling. A’s color palette was very tranquil to work with. Something about those deeper tones with the pops of warmth just get me. A + C had a small intimate ceremony with their close family and then celebrated with friends afterwards at a local beer garden they love. I really like how she used our white modern stands that we have for rent. Giving her aisle entrance a taller floral moment while having her ground aisle markers gives the eye that visual appeal. A was my first bride I met with before the DF studio. We met in the little side room off the kitchen in my house that i was using as my flower room. Our first meeting was there and in the span of her planning process i moved into the studio so her final meeting was held in the early days of the current DF space. Thankful for my first few brides that took the chance on me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their early support for me and my craft.

Our first wedding of October 2022 was a wildflower daydream. K’s vision was clear from the very beginning and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her fun ideas. It was a gorgeous, breezy day by the water on her grandfathers property. She was a bride who knew what she wanted with many parts of the planning process. She knew she would get married on her grandfathers property since she is extremely close to him and it also holding that sentimental value. The bride requested no roses or lilies and even those I am a huge fan of using garden roses, I think her vision was completely complete with out any. K was one of the first brides ever to book DF for their wedding, and we are so incredibly grateful she did.
